Talk to Us
When Kevin retired in 2014, he wanted to get involved in his community. Given the increasing number of seniors in Sarasota coupled with the highly regarded reputation of the Senior Friendship Centers; their comprehensive set of programs and services, financial stability and impressive volunteer involvement, it was a perfect fit. Kevin’s passion for Senior Friendship Centers’ mission continued to grown, choosing to serve on the board, a number of committees, and for he and his wife, Vicky, their primary ‘financial investment’ in their community.
Kevin and Vicky's commitment to the organization serves as an inspiration for others to invest in their communities. By recognizing the needs of seniors and actively supporting initiatives that combat isolation, they demonstrate the profound impact that individuals can make in enhancing the lives of older adults.
Kevin and Vicky have also chosen to be legacy members, having faith Senior Friendship Centers will be a viable and critically important organization for Sarasota for years and years to come. Most important, they want to be remembered for the positive impact they had in their family’s lives and the community they choose to live in.
